As promised on FaceBook and Instagram here is an update to the current status of the ASV recording studio. The mixing room is set up and acoustically measured. I need to treat the room a little more for eliminating a nasty resonance around 150 Hz, but no big deal. The glue for the acoustic panels is already on the table waiting to be used.
After that, there are some diffusers at the sides and back missing. So I have another few days of work to do, but then I’m ready to mix again. A great step forward after more than three months of having all the equipment stored in road cases and shipped to the Algarve from Germany. A small recording room for acoustic instruments and voice will follow in the next week and then I am ready to go for smaller recordings. Hit me up when you want to book a session.
